According to June’s North West Business Insider, Liquid Bronze is now Liquid Gold – but nobody told us!

Apart from giving us a new name, the article in Insider was a good one on how new Cloud Computing technologies can help SMEs use powerful software at a fraction of what it used to cost.  We also talked about Malinko our Software as a Service product that helps organisations easily manage and schedule their people and vehicles. Official Freedoma.com Launch Party

We’re pleased to announce that Freedoma.com was officially launched last night at Dough in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

Lovely pizza was consumed, ONITZHEAD, Homecut and Rev Juggla performed and Freedoma’s founder, Caleb Storkey, introduced the site to the event attendees.

Freedoma has been gaining good feedback and press already over its unique style and delivery of its business listings and ability to allow you to interact via adding reviews and rate businesses, and find out what your friends thought of businesses.  You can read an interview with Caleb at PR media.

Liquid Bronze developed Freedoma.com as a bespoke internet system for Caleb.  We utilised Ruby On Rails and MySQL and an adapted agile methodology for devliering the project, and look foward to continued delivery in the coming months on what has been a fun, ambitious and interesting project to work on so far.

FlyTheCoop – Survey Results In

This co-working co-operative will represent a range of creative and technical industries in the City, creating new possibilities for collaboration and partnerships.”

It looks likesetting up the first working space is progressing in Manchester.

Freedoma – New Business Site Launched

Liquid Bronze is proud to annouce that Freedoma.com has now been launched.

Freedoma.com is a business listings site that allows consumers to rate, and review businesses, as well as allowing business owners to interact with their customers via the site.

Over the coming month the site will concentrating in Manchester, before moving onto the rest of the UK.

The site has been developed by Ian and Andrew of Liquid Bronze in Ruby On Rails for local entrepreneur Caleb Storkey.

BarCamp Manchester

Ian Moss and Andrew Threlfall attended BarCamp Manchester at the MEN Media HQ.

If you’re wondering what a BarCamp is… BarCamp is an international network of user generated conferences — open, participatory workshop-events, whose content is provided by participants.”

Andrew kicked off the day by delivering a session on Liquid Bronze delivering an auction system in 60 days and the issues and challenges associated with such a tight deadline.
